This is my final magazine cover. I have now added the image into the cover, i have faded the image so its blends into the background and the image is centered. The sell lines do not obstruct the image as the image is the main focus of the magazine, the title for the film links in with the poster as the same font is used, this stands out well from the poster. I have added small but important details to the cover. The link for the magazines website appears at the bottom of the page to add a professional feel to the cover. I have added a bar code and price to the cover so it looks like it can be shipped for retail. I have also added the monthly edition to the top of the page so the reader can identify when the magazine is from.

Final Magazine Cover
This is my final magazine cover. I have now added the image into the cover, i have faded the image so its blends into the background and the image is centered. The sell lines do not obstruct the image as the image is the main focus of the magazine, the title for the film links in with the poster as the same font is used, this stands out well from the poster. I have added small but important details to the cover. The link for the magazines website appears at the bottom of the page to add a professional feel to the cover. I have added a bar code and price to the cover so it looks like it can be shipped for retail. I have also added the monthly edition to the top of the page so the reader can identify when the magazine is from.
Early shots of Magazine Cover
This is the very start of my magazine cover. I have, like my poster, went for a simple black background as this helps build up the feel of a horror genre. The masthead at the top of the page is in a large text with a styled font, the last and first letters are in a red colour this is because i felt like i had to add a bit of colour onto the magazine.
I have now added the major sell line onto the poster, this is located in the bottom third and is promoting my film. There is some text about the film which is there to attract the reader. The title of the film is in large text which is the main focus of the lines which catches the readers eye, the magazine links in with the poster as the font is the same for the title. I have also added a sell line at the top of the page to make it look professional, ive also added colour here.
I have now added my main sell lines to the right of the page, the magazine is now complete for sell lines, i have located them to the right of the page so the image when placed in will be the main focus of the poster and will not be majorly obstructed by sell lines. During the lines i have made certain names or people of films larger so they have the most focus, this is to make it look more professional.
I have now finished my magazine cover i just need to add my image into the magazine and it will be complete.
Final Film Poster

This is my final poster for my film. The main focus of the poster is on the centered image, the lighting leads up to the figure and i have used photoshop to darken the image so that it blends in with the background whilst the figure is still visible. The lighting acts as a tunnel which is surrounded by darkness so this fits in with the films name 'isolation' as they are surrounded alone with the dark hooded figure. The main title is in large text which stands out well against the black background and catches the readers eye, the style of font works well with the films genre as its in a horror style font.
The sell line at the top of the page helps promote the film and adds a professional feel to the poster. Another sell line is located directly below in the upper right third of the poster adds another dimension to the poster and this also looks professional, i have linked this in with my film magazine as the quote is from there. The link to the films website is at the bottom of the page, this is because during my research i found out that is the place they are usually found.
I have now added the movies 'release date' to the lower third of the poster in a size text that stands out well but doesn't dominate the poster, this is another thing i have added to make it look more professional and to make it more appealing to the audience. I have now completed adding production names and adding names for recognition to my poster, this is now complete. It has names from people who 'helped create the film' such as graphic designers, executive producers and sound production. This adds an extra professional dimension to the overall poster.
Production Update
I have now collected all the footage for my movie trailer and i am in the process of editing it. I have created some animation in Flash for my trailer for the production companies. I have also taken all of my photos for my magazine and poster. I have also completed my final film poster and i have nearly finished my magazine cover.
early shots of film poster
This is an early shot of my film poster. I have chosen to go with a plain black background as i believe black backgrounds work best for horror posters. I will place an image in the centre of the screen when i have taken the image. I searched the website, dafont.com, to find a suitable font for my main title on my poster and have found one which i think works well with the trailer and its genre. The title is located in the bottom third of the page, this is so the main focus of the poster will be on the centered image when i have completed the poster.
I have studied a few horror movie posters and have added a few lines to my poster to make it look a bit more professional and to add effect. A lot of horror posters have got a link somewhere on them for the films website, so i have added a link at the bottom of the page as i think its the best place for the link. I have also added a sell line to the top of the poster as this adds effect to the poster and makes it look more professional.
I have now added the movies 'release date' to the lower third of the poster in a size text that stands out well but doesn't dominate the poster, this is another thing i have added to make it look more professional and to make it more appealing to the audience. I have started to add names in small text underneath the poster, this is to help promote the production company and the actors. At the moment there is four names for the actors and some of the production companies.
I have now completed adding production names and adding names for recognition to my poster, this is now complete. It has names from people who 'helped create the film' such as graphic designers, executive producers and sound production. This adds an extra professional dimension to the overall poster. I will now add the image to the poster and it will be then complete.
